LEGO Lord Of The Rings BrickHeadz Review
I have fond connections to the Lord of the Rings series. My old dog was called Bilbo, I loved the films and couldn’t wait to head to the shops to pick up the extended editions. Of course, the books really bring the rich world of Middle Earth to life. But for many, it’s the film series from New Line Cinema which has provided the route into this amazing world. They also acted as the inspiration for the LEGO® Lord of the...
40615: Tusken Raider LEGO BrickHeadz Review
Considering how many characters there are in the Star Wars universe only a handful of them have become LEGO BrickHeadz characters. Although they aren’t released regularly, Star Wars BrickHeadz make up a pretty decent whack of the range. Most of the recent releases have focused on character double packs but the set I’m taking a look at today focused on a single character – The Tusken Raider. One of the first LEGO Star...
40554: Jake Sully & His Avatar BrickHeadz Review
This October the world of Avatar joins the ever-increasing line-up of sets based on blockbuster movies. As well as a number of playsets based in the alien world of Pandora, there will also be a special LEGO BrickHeadz pack. The set features former marine Jake Sully and his Na’vi Avatar, styled as BrickHeadz characters. The set will be available from October 1st, but here’s an early look at both characters in my review of...
LEGO BrickHeadz Pets Koi Fish & Poodle Review
LEGO® BrickHeadz are an unusual aspect of the LEGO product line-up. Since their debut in 2016, they were considered the LEGO Group’s take on the Funko Pop, offering buildable versions of iconic characters in a unique visual style. LEGO fans seem to fall into one of two camps – love them and absolutely detest them. At one point it was rumoured the theme was coming to an end, but 6 years on, BrickHeadz are still regularly...
40547: Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader BrickHeadz Review
It’s amazing to think LEGO® BrickHeadz are still being released as it wasn’t too long ago, it was rumoured the collectable theme was being canned. The premise of the BrickHeadz is a simple one, buildable versions of iconic characters all crafted in a stylised cubic aesthetic. Despite them using the same design basis, as LEGO themes go, it is one of the most varied in terms of IPs it covers. The latest set to join the...
40476 & 40377: Daisy & Donald Duck Sets Review
Joining the recently revealed LEGO® Disney DuckTales BrickHeadz set is another duck-themed set in the form of Daisy Duck. Although she’s a fellow duck, it didn’t seem fair to lump her into with Scrooge and co. However, it did make sense to pair Daisy with her hot-headed partner Donald. He will be reunited with his love come June 1st when the new Daisy Duck BrickHeadz set is released. So here’s a closer look at them...
40477: Disney’s DuckTales LEGO BrickHeadz Review
Whether you grew up glued to the TV watching it during Disney Afternoons or are more familiar with the recent reboot, DuckTales has been enjoyed by multiple generations. Now those tales of daring are the inspiration for another new LEGO® BrickHeadz set. Duckburg’s most adventurous trillionaire, Scrooge McDuck and his nephew’s Huey, Dewey and Louie have been transformed into BrickHeadz. In a similar fashion to the recently...
