Today marks the 100th anniversary of the first Winnie the Pooh story being published. A.A. Milne’s first book of stories featuring the famous bear, illustrated by E.H. Shepard, was officially published on October 14, 1926, although the character appeared in short stories before that. The Winnie the Pooh characters and stories were inspired by A.A. Milne’s family and the world around him. Over Pooh’s long history, he became part of the Disney family, and it’s those appearances which have inspired several LEGO® sets, including buildable characters, which are available now. Celebrate – The 100th anniversary of Winnie the Pooh. Build – LEGO sets inspired by the iconic stories from the Hundred Acre Wood, available now from LEGO.com, LEGO Stores and all good LEGO retailers.
