Two additions to the LEGO® Batman Legendary Batmobile Collection have been officially revealed today. Both are inspired by vehicles featured in the LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight game, which in turn are inspired by the wider Batman universe. The Batman Returns Batmobile includes a downscaled version of the recent large-scale Batmobile. This smaller version also splits apart to reveal The Batmissile. The set also includes Penguin’s Duck vehicle, which features during a boss battle in the recent LEGO Batman game. Two minifigures are featured in the set, including a Danny DeVito-inspired version of the Penguin. The set Batmobile is featured in Rocksteady’s critically acclaimed Arkham Trilogy of games. The Arkham Batmobile features in those games and can be driven in Legacy of the Dark Knight. The set also features a version of Batman inspired by the Arkham game.
Similar to the LEGO Batman Legendary Batmobile Collection sets released earlier this year, these upcoming sets also include unlockable content for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. The Batman Returns sets unlock a gold version of the in-game set. The Arkham Batmobile unlocks a Red Brick, which will apply gold effects to in-game characters and vehicles. Both sets will be released in January next year.
