This week has seen two new LEGO® Desk/Tiny Pets books released, expanding the range to four books. These are created by Ameet Publishing and LEGO Books, but are published under different names depending on regional publishers. But for this feature, I’ll refer to them as Tiny Pets. That name does a decent enough job of describing them – tiny, buildable LEGO pets. But the concept actually began way before becoming a book series. The Corgi Tiny Pet was first featured in the LEGO Cute Squad book published in 2024. It was then repackaged and joined the Pig Tiny Pet earlier this year. The latest two additional animals to join the line-up are a Panda and a Koala.
The Tiny Pet concept offers a mini animal build, which is joined by various accessories. Beyond the physical LEGO build, each book pack includes a poster, a set of stickers and a paper craft object. There’s also a small book detailing the adventures of each pet and a few activities.
The little LEGO critters are fun little builds and make a cute collection. Better still, LEGO Tiny Pets are set to continue into 2027 with new animals including an Axolotl and a Hamster. Ameet will also introduce similar books featuring Tiny Robots, Fantastic Dragons, Minecraft Mini Mobs and the previously released Botanicals Tiny Plants.
The LEGO Tiny/Desk Pets books are available now from LEGO.com and selected retailers. Additional books will be published in 2027.
