Three new LEGO® Marvel playsets inspired by Marvel Studios’ upcoming Avengers: Doomsday have been officially revealed. They include another take on the Quintet and the Avengers Tower plus a new Epic Battle set. The most exciting thing about the new sets has to be the minifigures. They include new takes on classic characters with several appearing in minifigure form for the first time. Like other Epic Battle sets, the Doomsday one is inspired by a key moment from the upcoming film. It features a Doom-powered Sentinel taking on Fox-era X-Men and established characters from the MCU. The sets will be joined by a Doomsday-themed BrickHeadz pack and a Doctor Doom Bust. Check out the new sets and minifigures below.
Please note imagery provided by the LEGO Group appears to include a colouring issue with some of Doctor Doom’s powers. In the final sets, elements related to his powers will be green not red as seen in some images below.
