Another collection of unique LEGO® Minifigures is now available in LEGO stores. Thanks to the use of unique elements and themed characters, they have become as sought after as Collectable Minifigures. Often referred to as BAMs, the latest Build a Minifigure offerings include seven characters celebrating a Summer of Sports. Here’s a closer look at all of the new minifigures, now starting to appear in LEGO Stores and certified stores.
Compared to previous Build A Minifigure Series, the sports-themed characters don’t offer as many fun accessories or unique pieces. There are two unique printed tiles, including a 2×2 baseball play chart and a 2×3 VAR screen. Many of the characters have appeared in other forms, mostly in past series of Collectable Minifigures. Still, they do offer some interesting toros, such as the Basketball Player’s shirt, Referee Uniform and the Cyclist’s top.

A big thanks to Robin for tracking these for me. With no LEGO stores close to Leicester or the East Midlands, it’s impossible to get hold of these minifigures. So without Robin’s help, I’d never be able to get hold of these unique characters. The Summer of Sports Build a Minifigure characters can be picked up in LEGO stores now.
