Due to their simplistic nature, the LEGO® 4+ range is often overlooked by older fans. However, their “easy-to-build” design is frequently paired with amazing minifigures and unique printed elements. While the LEGO Marvel sets have previously dipped into Spidey and his Amazing Friends, the latest wave takes inspiration from the Disney+ spin-off series focused on Iron Man and his awesome friends. Let’s take a closer look at set 11211: Loki vs. Team Iron Man.

The Buildable Models
The set includes four simple builds, each tied to a specific character from the show. These feature special ‘Starter Bricks’ which are what make the 4+ sets ‘easy-to-build. One of the most impressive things about 4+ sets is the complete lack of stickers. Seeing printed elements here – like the Arc Reactors, suit domes, and cockpit canopy – makes the heavy use of stickers in expensive 18+ sets feel even more infuriating.
Iron Man’s Jet: The simple jet build uses Iron Man’s signature colourscheme and features a great printed orange canopy displaying J.A.R.V.I.S.-like readouts (including a snapshot of Ultron). This can be popped off to place a minifigure in the cockpit.
Tony Stark’s Workshop: Iron Man also has a workshop to tinker around in. The workshop features a suit display platform surrounded by a cool printed curved panel. This is topped by a printed dome piece, often used for the head of mechs. Along with a couple of tools, the workshop also features a small cherry picker platform.
Amadeus Cho’s Hulk Mech: In the series, Cho utilises Hulk-themed devices. This Hulkbuster-style mech uses ‘Starter Bricks’ and has enough room inside the chest to stand a minifigure. It has limited articulation but enough to make it fun to play with or pose. Despite the simplicity, it is one of the best Marvel designs in a long time.
Riri’s Sports Car: Since flying in a suit isn’t always enough, Riri Williams gets a sleek sports car. It utilises a ‘Starter Brick’ base and is decorated to match her specific armour. This includes a printed piece for the bumper of the car. It’s a little tricky to securely place the minifigure into the drivers seat.
The Minifigures
The set includes four unique minifigures, inspired by the versions of the Marvel characters from the Disney+ show. These share similarities with their MCU counterparts but offer awesome minifigure variants. The Iron Friends include Tony Stark’s Iron Man, Riri Williams’ Ironheart and Amadeus Cho’s Iron Hulk. The characters are significantly younger versions, so their minifigure reflect that through the use of shorter legs and different heads.
Each character features in their own Iron armour. These include the use of single-piece helmets, which work well for the animated style of each character. Amadeus’ Hulk-themed suit is a particular highlight. In fact, it’s one of my favourite minifigures of 2026 so far. Each suit has its own Arc Reactor, adding a little more uniqueness to the suits. Ironheart’s suit takes more inspiration from the comics than the MCU, resulting in a more distinctive suit.
The Verdict
This set may be aimed at younger builders, but it has massive appeal for LEGO Marvel fans of all ages. The incredible printed elements are the icing on the cake, and the minifigure selection is top-tier. In fact, I’d go so far as to say Loki vs. Team Iron Man is my favourite LEGO Marvel set of 2026 so far. It’s available now at LEGO stores and major retailers.
