This year as seen a steady stream of LEGO® Store exclusive minifigures released. They have included a gang of NINJAGO characters, a trio of Birthday characters and a Spring-themed squad. The latest characters to join the BAM line-up are now available in LEGO Stores and selected certified LEGO stores globally. The four new characters don’t really follow a particular theme, but like the previous BAMs, they do include unique elements and interesting accessories. Here’s a closer look at the four April Build-A-Minifigure characters.
Fire Chief
At first glance, the Fire Chief may seem like any other from a LEGO City set. However, the use of the silver helmet gives it a retro feel, despite the torso featuring a modern style of firefighter. That silver helmet was originally featured in several City between 2005 and 2010. Appearing a couple of times since. Also included is a longer handled fire axe.
Wildlife Rescuer
The Wildlife Rescuer include a rare animal figure in the form of a koala. This was introduced in the Series 24 LEGO Minifigures and hasn’t appeared anywhere else until now. The character also includes a unique torso, which includes a cute heart-shaped logo featuring a koala, chameleon and toucan, all recently introduced animal figures.
Sunflower Lanyard Kid
In 2025, the LEGO Group partnered with Hidden Disabilities to introduce the ‘sunflower lanyard’ into LEGO sets. This is the first time one of the lanyards has been printed on a minifigure torso. Previously, they were only available this way via the Minifigure Factory. The kid is joined by a puppy figure, which is also a rare animal figure, with this colour of canine only appearing in one set.
Racer
The Racer minifigure has similar vibes to LEGOLAND’s Minifigure Speedway mascot, Roxie Racer. In that it uses similar colours, although the race suit is less detailed. The standout feature of this character is the head, which features a protective balaclava which just peeks through when the helmet is worn. The minifigure includes a red toolbox accessory.

I think my favourite is the fire chief… although the racer is pretty good too! Actually, they’re all good 🙂
