LEGO Big Builds: Pink Cadillac

Ahead of this weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix, the LEGO Group has unveiled a super-sized LEGO® version of a Pink Cadillac car. It’s inspired by a similar but much smaller vehicle featured in the Downtown Diner Modular set. This, in turn, was inspired by Elvis’s iconic pink Cadillac. The Big Build Cadillac has been built in partnership with Cadillac, who are set to compete as a new team in the F1 championship next year. The LEGO Pink Cadillac is built from 418,556 LEGO elements, including a record 123,426 pink bricks, and is created at a 28:1 scale. It took the Master Builders at the Kladno Factory 2,000 hours to design and 2,000 hours to build. Along with LEGO elements, the Big Build Cadillac also include illuminated sections and a custom single-piece plexiglass windshield. Look out for more LEGO surprises from the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
