Epic Games has announced that the most recent addition to the LEGO® Fortnite ecosystem will no longer be available, as the mode is being merged into the main LEGO Fortnite experience. The LEGO Fortnite Expeditions mode debuted in June and sent groups of players to tackle a series of missions across unique maps. Players could pick certain hero types and weapons, upgrading them the more they played. Hero Classes will now be added to the main LEGO Fortnite Odyssey mode. Before the full merge of modes on November 1st, Hero Weapons and Ability Equipment will become available on October 9th. There will also be a change to food, which will now be used to give power buffs using the new potion cauldron. As a thank you for trying out Expeditions, players will be gifted the Mask Marker decor bundle from November 1st.
