While primarily focused on Star Wars characters under the “Helmet Collection” banner, this innovative format quickly expanded to include iconic figures from both Marvel and DC.
The latest addition to this captivating collection spotlights none other than Miles Morales, Brooklyn’s very own Spider-Man! His popularity has soared thanks to Sony’s critically acclaimed Spider-Verse movies and his prominent roles in PlayStation Studios’ hit Spider-Man games. Miles’ presence has steadily grown across various Marvel sets, from the Spidey and his Amazing Friends 4+ playsets to numerous other Marvel releases.
Now, Miles swings into the spotlight once more with his latest brick-built appearance in set 76329. Let’s dive in for a closer look at Miles Morales’ Mask.

The world of Spider-Man has been the source of several Marvel ‘Helmet Collection’ sets, which are technically masks, not helmets. These have included the original Web-slinger, whose masked head was released last year. Now his younger prodigy, Miles Morales, has received the same treatment in what is essentially a colour-swapped version of Spider-Man’s Mask.
As with all of the helmet/mask sets, they are mounted on a black plinth. This offers a nice bit of consistency across the sets, regardless of which theme they are inspired by. The display plinth also forms the core of the head. This is then clad in different sections, which create the exterior of Miles’ mask. These are then clipped in place to form the shape of a masked head. Regardless of who is wearing the Spidey suit, they all share a similar design, often featuring a webbed pattern. This is featured on the set by a mix of printed elements and stickers. Most of the stickers are featured on the sections found on the top of the mask and the side panels. Fully printed pieces would have been ideal, but the placement of the handful of stickers used means they don’t distract too much.
As mentioned, this is, in simple terms, merely a colour-swapped version of the Spider-Man Mask. The parts used and the build are identical across both the Spider-Man and Miles Morales masks. Which, essentially, is the same as the characters they are based on. This isn’t laziness; the design of the Spider-Man’s Mask set from last year did a decent job of recreating the character’s appearance, so why change it beyond the colours? The same concept could be used for other Spider-Verse characters. It’s nice to see Miles’ Spider-Man being featured in more sets, and this one is another good celebration of the character. It’s especially appealing should you own other Marvel ‘Helmet or Mask’ Collection sets. The LEGO Marvel Miles Morales’ Mask set will be available from July 1st and can be pre-ordered now.
