Visitors to LEGOLAND Windsor will have fond memories of the park’s LEGO® Star Wars exhibition. It was located in its building near ‘The Beginning’ section of the park. It was unfortunately closed down in 2019, with reports suggesting Disney didn’t want any of their IPs appearing in competitors’ theme parks. The much-loved walk-through attraction featured a Miniland-scale scene from across the Star Wars galaxy, including a large LEGO Death Star made from half a million LEGO bricks. Previously known as the Creation Centre and hosting a Rocket Racers experience, the building also featured a LEGO Star Wars store and the Model Makers workshop. Since the Star Wars content was removed, the space has been used to feature scenes and sets from The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Piece. There is no mention in previous planning applications of changes to this area of the park, which suggests that whatever will be there will use the existing building.
