A short clip has been uploaded to various LEGO Group social media channels in partnership with Universal linked to the newly released Jurassic World Rebirth trailer. In the clip a female minifigure, I assume represents Scarlett Johansson’s character standing in front of a 4×4 vehicle and in the background a dinosaur is revealed through lighting flashes. That dinosaur is a Spinosaurus and there hasn’t been one feature in any of the Jurassic World sets so far, suggesting there could be one on the way in a future LEGO® Jurassic World set, based on Rebirth. A LEGO Spinosaurus did feature in the LEGO Jurassic World game but the one in the clip has a different spine fin. So it’s highly possible this could be the first tease of an upcoming set based on the next chapter of the Jurassic World saga. Especially since Universal has confirmed the film and the LEGO Group will inspire merchandise is listed as a partner.
