It’s been 3 years since TT Games released a LEGO® game. Following the protracted development of The Skywalker Saga, it’s been radio silence from the bastions of LEGO Games. There have been snippets of information such as rumours of a cancelled LEGO Disney game, a new LEGO Harry Potter game, similar in scope to the Skywalker Saga and another outing for LEGO Batman. With no news from TT Games or Warner Bros. the only official information we’ve seen is from job listings. Previously they have confirmed the next LEGO Games title is in development and it’s based on major IP. A new listing for a LEGO Model Designer suggests the game will have brick-built environments and vehicles similar to those in the Speed Champions sets. The cars reference would seemingly rule out a new Harry Potter game. This could be the year we finally learn what TT Games have been cooking up over the last few years. Apart from a new game from Builder’s Journey devs, Light Brick Studios and new content for LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, there’s nothing else in the works for LEGO Games. Especially since the partnership with 2K Games seems to have prematurely ended. Exactly what the new TT Games LEGO title is has yet to be confirmed.
