In little over a week’s time, the Blue Blur speeds into shops with the release of five new LEGO® Sonic the Hedgehog sets. The upcoming sets transform characters and locations from various Sonic games and feature new minifigures and play features inspired by Sonic’s speedy gameplay. I’ve been lucky enough to be able to take an early look at the new sets and here’s a round-up of my reviews. The LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog sets are released on August 1st and there will be further LEGO X Sonic releases including two new BrickHeadz, LEGO content in Sonic games including Sonic Superstars and Sonic Forces.
