The countdown to Christmas rolls on, as we find out what’s behind door number 5 of the LEGO® Advent Calendars. This year we are treated to five different LEGO Advent Calendars, each one filled with a selection of minibuilds and minifigures. Each day I’ll be sharing the goodies behind each door as we build up to the countdown to Christmas. I’ll be leaving it until late each day so the surprise isn’t ruined. So let’s see what’s behind door number 5 of the LEGO City, LEGO Friends, LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Harry Potter and the LEGO Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Advent Calendars.
Like Mince Pies, Turkey and Santa, there are some traditions which occur every Christmas, which is why the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar once again graces us with another Battle Droid, in many years’ time we’ll have another for an actual army. Thankfully, things are more varied elsewhere. The Marvel Advent Calendar gives us another member of the Guardians with a Rocket Raccoon minifigure, another returnee from the Guardians Ship set. Behind day 5 of the Harry Potter Advent Calendar is a mini version of the Salazar Slytherin statue from the Chamber of Secrets. LEGO City features another microscale version of a larger set, with the Express Passenger Train shrunken down for today’s build. LEGO Friends continues to intrigue us with unknown builds, today it’s a sort of rideable colourful creature.
