Just before Christmas the UK had its borders with Europe closed due to a mutant strain of COVID-19, first discovered in the UK. Because of this, all road freight was stopped and air freight was delayed. This, of course, affected UK LEGO® fans as DPD stopped all deliveries to the UK, this caused the LEGO Group to cease sending orders to the UK via Standard Delivery. Express Deliveries were still being processed but could be delayed. Even those borders were reopened on Christmas Eve, DPD were still not delivering to the UK as of this morning. Not great for all of us waiting for the new releases to arrive tonight. Well, there is some good news as UK standard delivery is back on, although orders could still be slightly delayed compared to normal. It does mean you can place an order tonight and it will be delivered and not held back.
