Love them or not, LEGO® BrickHeadz have a passionate fanbase and an impressive line-up of characters. Since they launched in 2016 there has been almost 100 characters released. These included a mix of licensed characters and original creations. Many expected the theme to be retired this year, after no additional licensed sets were revealed. Then a selection of seasonal sets were emerged, marking the second year BrickHeadz have been used for sets tied to various holidays. Last week a selection of fan media sites headed to Billund, for interviews and other activities. This included the gang over at Zusammengebaut who are reporting that BrickHeadz will be back in 2020 and that new releases will once again include licensed characters. As someone who has collected them all, well I say all, that doesn’t include the US exclusive LEGO Movie 2 sets; I’m excited to see what the future holds for BrickHeadz. Head over to Zusammengebaut for more details as well as an interview with the BrickHeadz Design Team in the next few days.
