In 2020, the LEGO Group and the LEGO Foundation teamed up to release LEGO® Braille Bricks. The Braille Bricks were introduced to help children with vision impairments, to develop tactile skills and learn the Braille system. The bricks are moulded so that the studs on top reflect individual letters and numbers in the Braille alphabet while remaining fully compatible with other LEGO elements. Since their introduction, Brailler Bricks have been launched in several languages and became widely available in 2023, through the Play with Braille sets. Now the Braille Bricks have been packaged in a promotional polybag. Here’s a quick look at what the set has to offer.
Product Details
Set Name: Play with Braille Bricks | Set Number: 30711 | Pieces: 10 | Theme: Braille Bricks
The Play with Braille Bricks polybag/recruitment set includes just 10 elements. These include an 8×8 white plate and 2x2x3 brick, which combine to create a stand. The set also features 8 Braille Bricks, which include the letters L, E, G, O, along with A, B, C and D. It’s an unusual little set, but it does exactly what polybags are meant to do – offer a smaller, cheaper taster of a larger set or theme. For how much the set costs, it’s a great way to own some of these unique LEGO bricks without purchasing the larger sets. The LEGO Play with Braille Bricks miniset is available now from Brick-a-brac in the UK and selected retailers in North America.
