You Can Now Fly To Billund From Manchester Airport

Currently you can only fly to Billund via Ryanair at Stansted Airport or with the rather more expensive British Airways from Gatwick. So you may be pleased to know that from April you’ll also be able to fly to Billund from Manchester Airport, unfortunately it’s with Ryanair but at least that means cheap flights. There will be four flights per week, starting on April 1st, with flights occurring Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, perfect for a cheeky weekend away at The LEGO® House or LEGOLAND Billund attractions. You can book tickets right now via the Ryanair website or app. Now if only you could fly from East Midlands I’d be there every week!

Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 airline, today (4 Jan) announced a new route from Manchester to Billund, with a four times weekly service commencing in April, as part of Ryanair’s Manchester Summer 2019 schedule.

Ryanair’s Manchester Summer schedule includes 63 routes in total with 8 new routes to Bordeaux, Billund, Gothenburg, Kyiv, Marrakech, Marseille, Nantes and Thessaloniki, which will deliver over 5.4m customers through Manchester Airport next year.

UK consumers and visitors can now enjoy even lower fares and the latest “Always Getting Better” improvements including:

  • Reduced checked-in bag fees
    • lower €25 x 20kg check bag
    • lower €8 x 10kg check bag
  • Ryanair Rooms with 10% off Travel Credit
  • ‘Try Somewhere New’ – travel content platform on Ryanair.com

Ryanair’s Head of Communications, Robin Kiely said:

“Ryanair is pleased to announce a new Manchester route to Billund, commencing in April, which will operate four times weekly, as part of our Manchester summer 2019 schedule.

To celebrate we are releasing seats on sale for this new route from £19.99, for travel in April 2019, which should be booked by midnight on Monday (7 Jan). Since these amazing low fares will be snapped up quickly, customers should log onto www.ryanair.com and avoid missing out.”

  1. We went with Ryanair from Stansted to Billund last June for my birthday and found the service was excellent. You get what you pay for.

Our cases were tagged at the gate and we handed them to ground crew as we boarded. We took small backpacks on board with us.

On the way back we paid for priority boarding and two suitcases so our precious Lego didn’t get damaged.

All in all Ryanair was awesome!

    • My first flight with them was fine but they have cancelled 4 out of 6 flights I had booked to or from there with them. Very last minute as well, I missed the LEGO House opening
