For the latest issue of National Geographic Kids magazine, the publisher has teamed up with LEGO® City to offer young explorers a unique look at the Arctic tundra. As well as offering a free LEGO City Arctic Polybag set and poster with the current issue of the magazine, budding explorers can also enter not one but two LEGO building contests, with the star prizes including a chance to meet real life National Geographic polar explorer Paul Rose, plus all the LEGO City Arctic Explorers sets, along with LEGO Boost.
Win A School Visit From An Arctic Explorer
For your chance to win a school visit from an arctic explorer and the full range of LEGO City Arctic Explorers sets, all you need to do is create an awesome Arctic scene for a LEGO minifigure to explore. This can be done by either building a 3D scene using LEGO bricks, household items and art supplies, or by drawing or painting a 2D scene. The scene could include Arctic animals, science equipment, labs or vehicles, and show some of the challenges an explorer could face. Check out the LEGO City Arctic Explorers range for inspiration. There are only a few days left to enter. So if you know any little LEGO lovers looking for someone to do this half term, get building and enter now. Full details of this competition, including how to enter, can be found over on the National Geographic Kids website.
Win An Arctic Adventure
But that’s not the only LEGO themed competition Nat Geo Kids is currently running. Fancy becoming an arctic explorer yourself? Then grab those LEGO bricks and build a vehicle fit for exploring the vast, ice-covered region. The winner will get to spend four night in the Arctic Circle, whilst there they’ll get to experience a husky ride, meet reindeers and of course some LEGO prizes. This competition runs until mid-November, so there is plenty of time to get those arctic vehicles designed. Full details of this competition, including how to enter, can be found over on the National Geographic Kids website.
