It’s been many a year since there was a magical place, with toys of a million all under one roof in the UK. But Toys R Us is heading back to the UK via a new partnership with famed Toblerone retailer, WHSmith. Despite forcing many of their staff out of the business just a year or so ago, they have somehow found the money to bring the Toys R Us brand to several of their larger stores. The brand will merely be a concession within the WHSmith stores, with the first opening in York on June 10th. The following stores listed below will open across the rest of the year. I doubt very much if we’ll be seeing any TRU-exclusive LEGO sets anytime soon. So if you have a hankering for some overpriced LEGO sets and a giant Cadbury’s Dairy Milk bar whilst being surrounded by cartoon giraffes, then keep an eye on your local WHSmith store.
