The Next LEGO Ideas Set Revealed

The next LEGO® Ideas project which will become a LEGO set has been officially revealed and that project will be the Tron Legacy Light Cycle by BrickBros UK. The set recreates the Light Cycle used by the programs to do battle within the computerised world of Tron Legacy. Which was the 2010 sequel to Disney’s groundbreaking 1982 classic Tron. the project was one of eleven up for review and will become a set in early 2018. A special mention was also given to the Surf Rescue project by Damien and Aiden MacRae, the inspirational story behind the project captured the hearts of many and soon got the project to 10K. Although it won’t become a set, LEGO will be working the father and son duo, to help share their message. See more over on the LEGO Ideas blog.

Over the past several months, the LEGO Review Board has carefully reviewed the 11 projects that reached 10,000 supporters between January and May 2017, our first review qualification period of 2017. We’re grateful for the energy and effort that each member has put into their project, as it’s certainly a big feat to get 10,000 supporters in itself. Congrats to everyone!
