The LEGO Group Pull Out of London Toy Fair

First New York, then Numerberg and now London, well kind of. It has just been announced that The LEGO Group has decided to pull out of the upcoming and yet to be cancelled London Toy Fair. The LEGO Group Toy Fair stand is normally quite large and offers the first look at upcoming products, although these are rarely made public until New York and German Toy Fairs. The LEGO Group plan to ‘connect’ with customers and partners online in regards to upcoming 2022 LEGO® product launches. Here’s the statement:

Due to the continued high rate of the Omicron infection and the risks associated with attending large events, we’ve decided not to have a physical presence at the London Toy Fair this year.  We will connect with our customers and partners online to share our exciting plans for the coming year.
