It’s the start of a new year, which also means it’s Toy Fair season. This kicks off in London at the annual London Toy Fair, followed by the Nuremberg Toy Fair in Germany and closing out with the New York Toy Fair. The LEGO Group will have a presence at each of the Toy Fairs and I received my invite to London (and Nuremberg) on Monday. LEGO® will be going big this year, with both a ‘public’ stand and a closed door area. During a meeting with LEGO UK last year, it seems they realise the need to be a little more open about what’s on show. Although it doesn’t seem as though images will be allowed, especially in the closed door area, official press shots could be made available once Nuremberg begins. The London Toy Fair begins on January 21st and run through until January 23rd.
