Back in 2019, a new LEGO® Star Wars game was announced and it’s not been released. No, I’m not talking about The Skywalker Saga but the other long-forgotten game called LEGO Star Wars Battles. The mobile game was set to be the first original mobile title created by TT Games and their new studios TT Odyssey and Playdemic. The game was announced as an action strategy game designed specifically for mobile devices, which would feature characters, ships and locations from across the Star Wars universe. Since that initial announcement, nothing about the game has ever been mentioned again. What’s even more odd is that the game is available in a few countries, where it’s currently still in BETA after many months of release. It would be easy to assume the game is delayed because of the continued delays suffered by The Skywalker Saga. But the only connection between the two titles is the fact it’s based on LEGO Star Wars. Will it ever get a wider release or has the general released been canned? I guess time will tell.
