Supersized LEGO Star Wars Set Built In Australia

This year marks the 20th Anniversary of LEGO® Star Wars and to celebrate LEGO Australia invited fans to take part in the world’s largest LEGO Star Wars unboxing at Westfield Chatswood earlier today, which just so happens to be Star Wars Day. LEGO fans of all ages have helped to build a surprise, super-sized LEGO Star Wars X-Wing Starfighter alongside LEGO Star Wars Creative Director Jens Kronvold Frederikson and the only Certified Professional Builder in the Southern Hemisphere, Ryan McNaught. The oversized X-Wing contains 83442 pieces and took 201 hours to design and build the various oversized elements used to build the set at the event. See the set being put together below.
