As well as offering special LEGO® sets, the LEGO Group often create unique LEGO-branded items to giveaway with purchases or through the VIP Rewards Centre. These can range from wonderful to random such as collectable coins or a Frisbee. These items could possibly become future promotional items, although there is zero information on if or when they could be given away. Items include a baseball cap, which features interchangeable LEGO-themed patches and the ability to load up your favourite minfigures in little loops on the side of the hat. There’s also a LEGO City carry case, which opens out to become a play surface. Finally, there’s also a LEGO-themed umbrella, which features brick-built fish designs on the canopy of the brolly and an oversized LEGO element on the base of the handle. Before you get too excited, these items may never see the light of day, but in case they do keep your eyes peeled on the VIP Rewards Centre and LEGO.com.

I was very fortunate to have visited the staff shop in Billund. They had some fabulous LEGO branded items for sale, including luggage and clothing not seen in regular retail outlets.
I’d love to see more adult orientated merch for sale!
