LEGO Germany are currently offer a preview of their upcoming new LEGO® products ahead of the Nuremberg Toy Fair. Although images aren’t allowed, various snippets are information has been made available by German LEGO fan media site Zausammengebaut. Highlights so far include:
LEGO City
Later this year a new animated LEGO TV series will air, which appears to be set in LEGO City. It will be supported by a handful of new sets based on characters and locations from the show. Elsewhere in LEGO City, new Space-based sub-theme will be released this summer. It will be similar to the Spaceport theme from a few years ago, but will have LEGO City astronaut attempting a Mission to Mars. There will also be another LEGO City People Pack, themed around the fairground.
LEGO Technic
Technic will have a new of new sets including the Control+ powered Liebherr 9800 excavator as well as car transporter, spider crane and another Control+ powered set, an off+roader vehicle.
LEGO Friends
LEGO Friends will be introducing a nautical sub-theme as well as various Heartlake City based sets.
LEGO Overwatch
LEGO Overwatch will continue into the Summer, with two new sets.
LEGO Architecture
There will be one set based on the Empire State Building and another recreating London’s Trafalgar Square.
LEGO Minifigures
Two new series confirmed but their theme remains a mystery, although one is expected to be a second series dedicated to Disney characters. May: 18 minifigures, September: 16 minifigures.
LEGO Advent Calendars
Once again there will be a LEGO City, LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Friends themed trio of advents.
LEGO Batman
Newly rebranded LEGO Batman sets will release in June and features Batman facing off against various Batman villains. A mixture of normal and new 4+ sets will be released. Some of which will included special Batman 80th anniversary prints.
LEGO Star Wars
As well as the recently revealed 20th Anniversary sets, there will be new Action Battle sets along with a number of sets based on the latest animated TV series, Resistance.
LEGO Creator 3-in-1
New sets coming in July includes a Town House with Per Shop and Cafe, Twin Blade Helicopter and a new fairground themed Carousel ride. Each set can rebuilt into two additional builds.
LEGO DUPLO
Disney’s Frozen will join the DUPLO line-up, with a small castle set that features a colour changing DUPLO brick. Plus Elsa and Anna DUPLO Figures.
