No SDCC LEGO Exclusives This Year

In an announcement that will surprise no-one, the 2020 San Diego Comic-Con event has been cancelled. Each year SDCC is used by LEGO® to showcase new sets, impressive big builds and is also used to give away exclusive LEGO sets and Minifigures. It’s entirely possible that LEGO has already created the products which would have been available at the event so we may see them given away in another way, possibly via online giveaways or the LEGO VIP Rewards Centre. The current global pandemic is causing major issues for everyone, for LEGO, it’s already affected product launches, store openings and theme park openings. The LEGO Group have stepped up with set donations to NHS staff, creating PPE visors and online activities.
