NINJAGO TV Show Reaches A Major Milestone

The animated TV show based on the LEGO® NINJAGO product line has reached an impressive. It is now the longest running currently airing TV show on Cartoon Network. Since Adventure Time came to a close yesterday, NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu now takes the crown. The very first episode of show premiered on Cartoon Network on 14th January 2011, nine season and over 90 episodes later the show still has a faithful viewership. In fact, the TV show is one of the key factors behind the success of the LEGO products. The play theme was originally conceived as a ‘Big Bang’ release, which means a story driven line, complimented by additional products and media. So it was set to be replaced by other ‘Big Bang’ theme Legends of CHIMA in 2014, but the passion for the world of NINJAGO saw the theme continue into 2014 and has been part of the LEGO line ever since. The tenth series of the show is set to air next year and will also see the show reach 100 episodes. Not bad going for a TV series and play theme, which was technically cancelled. Well done to the entire team behind the show and LEGO sets. (please not this is based on the US airing of the show and no there still isn’t any sign of the 9th season appearing in the UK)
