NINJAGO Series 3 Trading Cards Limited Editions Details

As we revealed a few weeks ago, the LEGO® NINJAGO Trading Card collection will be returning for a third series next month and unlike Series 2, there will be a few more Limited Edition cards to track down this time around and we can exclusively revealed how many there will be and where they will pop up over the next few months. When they are officially released we’ll go into a bit more detail but for now here are the basics.
As before the Starter Pack will include a trio of Limited Edition cards namely – LE1, LE2 and LE3
There will once again be four Trading Card multipacks to collect each featuring a different Limited Edition card so in those you will find cards LE4, LE5, LE6 and LE7.

The rest of the Limited Edition cards will be covermounted on various Immediate Media magazines including LEGO NINJAGO magazine, LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS magazine and comic special along with MEGA magazine.

  • LE8 – MEGA magazine issue 68
  • LE9 – MEGA magazine issue 70
  • LE10 – LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS Comic Special
  • LE11 – LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS magazine issue 26
  • LE12 – LEGO NINJAGO magazine issue 36
  • LE13 – LEGO NINJAGO magazine issue 38 (originally listed as issue 37, changed to issue 38 by publisher)

        • Hey up as they say in Yorkshire! Will there be another series of Nexo Knights Cards? I know these are aimed at kids but I’m 40 and grew up with Lego plus I’m a collector of trading card sets

          • A second series was released in Europe, but as we are slightly behind them and now that the NEXO KNIGHTS theme has been retired, it would be unlikely they get a release in the UK. And it doesn’t matter how old you are, LEGO know no age.

          • Hello again sorry! Can you double check the mags with the LE’S on as the LE for Mega Mag 68 is actually LE 9 Hero Harumi. Could LE 8 be on Mega Mag 70? Also which I forgot about is where can I get a replacement LE10 as it was taped to the magazine and the the tape has pulled some of the top layer of print off leaving just the silver underneath therefore it’s worthless! Thanks again

          • MEGA have mixed up the cards so the one with current issue should be in issue 70 and issue 70’s is in current one. You’ll notice the outer wrap shows Harumi, but all copies of the mag have Hutchins. They are aware of the error and the other card will be included in issue 70. If you email LEGO.NEXOKNIGHTS@immediate.co.uk they should be able to help with a replacement.

          • I got Harumi in the last issue of MEGA so does that mean I have missed Hutchins? I am confused as to what has happened as some people I know had Hutchins and some Harumi like me. Have I missed a card and if so what do I do?

          • Last we heard the publisher was aware of issue and advertised card would appear in next listed issue. We’ve contacted them for clarification.

          • Hey Adam I called them earlier and they said this…

LE8 Hutchins was the WRONG card. If you got this card you will not be able to get LE9 Harumi unless you contact them to let them know what happened. He said if you look in the back of that issue of mega magazine you will find their email contact details. You need to contact them expalining what happened and the area you are in as they are trying to work out if it was an isolated batch or not.

If you had LE9 Harumi you got the right card and LE8 will be in Mega 70 which is out on 20/06/18.

All their advertised LE cards in specific magazines may change though so it is always best to keep your eyes peeled on Ninjago, Nexo and Mega.

          • We’ve contacted the publisher today as well. The initial response was it was a mix up and cards would appear in opposite issues. But as they have told you it’s now just an isolated bunch of magazines affected. Thanks for the additional information.

  2. Hi I would like to mentioned that the geniuses who packed the card LE10, have found nothing better than taping the golden card to the magazine ( LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS Comic Special) , so the card LE10 end up being damaged at the top. Poor thinking. I hope they won’t do that again in the future.

    • We would advise contacting Immediate Media directly, see previous comments for contact information

  3. Not sure if last message worked , but what I said essentially is that the people who packed card LE10 are not very smart . Taping the card to the magazine , not a great idea !!

    • I agree Riki not the brightest idea was it I peeled it off carefully and I was pleased until I picked it up to put it in the binder. I think from now on they will never be taped to the mags well let’s hope eh Adam has put the point across to them so we should be all OK next time

  4. Hi Adam, my boy is only 20 away from the full set. Although I am still buying packs the chances of getting all of them are slim!! Is there a way to eventually obtain any cards he would need at the end? Thanks

    • They will available to purchase individually from Hubert Burda website, but not for a few months yet. All apart from the Limited Edition cards that is.

        • Hi again Adam. I have tried contacting Hubert Burda, the website says call but never any answer. They don’t seem to give an e mail contact? Any suggestions. Thanks

          • Unfortunately they don’t have a email contact, I’ve tried the one I had previously but never had a response.

    • Unfortunately not it would seem, in fact everything about whole Limited Edition cards this time around, seems to have caused issues. Wrong distribution list supplied, incorrect cards, poorly attached to magazines, stock issues.

      • Yeah true so it’s email nexo knights again I guess!
