NINJAGO Season 9 UK Air Date Details

For those UK NINJAGO fans eager to follow the continuing adventures of the Master of Spinjitzu in the ninth season of the show, then you have probably be wondering when the new episodes will arrive on UK screens. Well there’s some bad news, Cartoon Network currently have no UK air date and have suggested it won’t be screened in the UK until December! That’s despite the LEGO® sets based on the latest season, being released in the UK way back in June and many other countries already having a chance to enjoy the new episodes. In this day and age, stupendous delays in airing TV shows between countries is laughable and just fuels piracy. In the ninth season of the show, NINJAGO® City has fallen under the control of Lord Garmadon, and Lloyd and Nya must resist his oppressive hold. Meanwhile, Kai, Zane, Cole, Jay and Teen Wu are stranded in the barbaric Realm of Oni and Dragon where they are battling against Iron Baron and his gang of Dragon Hunters. But can the ninja get back home and stop Lord Garmadon once and for all? Find out in season 9 when it eventually screens in the UK.

  1. Hi Adam,
My youngest cannot wait for this to air in the UK. He feels hard done by that the sets are out stupidly early and that other countries have already watched it. (Hopefully Lego and Cartoon Network will see this and sort it out!!)

He was wondering if you have heard any update about the air date yet. CN usually get them out around October half term don’t they? He is worried that they will decide not to air it and drop it.

    • I feel his pain but no actual date apart from December. They definitely haven’t dropped it I know that for sure but they are being very cagey about an actual date. I’m checking daily and once I know anything it will be up on BricksFanz.com

  3. How can Lego allow this to happen? It’s not just the sets, the Ninjago magazine is full of season 9 stuff too. The marketing is not even there : I have to come to a fan site for these details. Cartoon Network UK don’t even mention it on their site.

Lego ought to get a grip of their licencees.

    • No plans for it to arrive on DVD same thing happened with Season 8. However you can watch the entire season On Demand. Just head to your TV providers Catch Up service and search NINJAGO Masters of Spinjitzu or find the Cartoon Network on demand section
