Nestled within the press release for the newly announced LEGO® adidas Originals Superstar buildable trainer, was news of a new collection of wearable footwear. There will be various designs for both adults and kids. The adult version will be a LEGO-themed version of the Originals Superstar shoes. The LEGO Superstar sneaker in adult sizing features a classic white and black leather construction that is elevated with custom three stripes, shelltoe, and heel tab, which have been carefully crafted to perfectly emulate the LEGO brick pattern.
The adult version of the shoe is joined by a number of kids sized shoes, bringing a colourful and playful LEGO take on the Superstar design. All versions of the adidias Originals Superstar shoes will be available from July 1st.
In related LEGO x adidas news, there will be further LEGO adidas trainers released in the future. Based on the Ultraboost design, the new Colours Collection. There isn’t currently a release date but SDB are reporting a $200 price tag.
