Following the stealth reveal during the Apple Keynote event, details of the two new LEGO® titles coming to Apple Arcade have been expanded upon by LEGO. They have provided a short outline of what the two titles will offer below and they have also teased future titles which will be more readily available on platforms beyond just Apple.
LEGO® is happy to announce that we will have two new mobile titles on the new Apple gaming service, Apple Arcade, launching later in the year.
The two brand-new LEGO Games that will be exclusively available on Apple Arcade are ‘LEGO Brawls’ and ‘LEGO Arthouse’.
LEGO Brawls, developed in partnership with RED Games, is a fast-paced LEGO take on multiplayer platforming, full of building, rebuilding and uniquely LEGO brick humor. The key inspiration for the title is a game where players literally build their own Heroes. By design, winning is a team-collaboration, working together to build and control contraptions within the levels, while battling the other team.
LEGO Arthouse, developed within the new Copenhagen game studio, is a narrative journey about play itself, touching deeply on the belief of we only get old because we stop playing. Targeted at a more mature audience, it is an expression of the value of creativity in a coming of age story, set amongst a micro LEGO world heavily inspired by our AFOL community.
These titles are exclusive to Apple Arcade, but we have a number of other titles coming this year that will hit the wider audience – the newly announced LEGO Tower coming this summer, and also other titles are coming later in the year. Look forward to more news on these games!
