More Changes To VIP Point Redemption Process

There have been a few more changes to the LEGO® VIP program, mainly focused on point redemption both online and in-stores. Firstly, the way points could be converted into money-off codes online has been changed and has been rolled out in various countries over the last few weeks. Today, the process is now available in the US, Canada and Mexico. VIP members globally will be able to choose a singular option for money-off codes. These can then be used both in-store or online. There are no longer two different methods. The only region still to be switched to the new system is France.

Also, point redemption when shopping in a LEGO Store has also changed. As well as being able to use the code option noted above, you can also use your points at the tills as you could before the VIP changes were introduced a number of years ago. Now you can also use differing point amounts in increments of £1/$1/1€ above £5/$5/5€. So instead of being limited to £5/$5/5€, £20/$20/20€, £50/$50/50€ or £100/$100/100€ you could for example use £7/$7/7€. You will need your physical or digital VIP card when in-store or to know your VIP card number or email associated with your account to collect or redeem points. This is a new process so the store staff may still be getting use to the new system.
