MBNA Thames Clippers Take Float At LEGOLAND Windsor

If you take a trip around Miniland at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort this Summer you may spot a new addition to the mini waters around London. To celebrate the launch of the MBNA Thames Clipper river boat service, a miniature version of the new watercraft has appeared in the parks mini-scale world. Weighting in 6.2 kg, the new LEGO mini MBNA Thames Clippers boat took LEGOLAND team of Model Makers over 67 hours to build and includes around 6,500 bricks. The mini boat is now on display in the waters of the Miniland attraction, complete with LEGO captain, crew, lifejackets, commuters and tourists.

It’s the first time that one of London’s popular river buses has made an appearance in Miniland London at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort. The new mini MBNA Thames Clippers’ vessel joins other famous attractions such as the Coca Cola London Eye, City Hall and Millennium Bridge.
