Building life-sized vehicles with LEGO® bricks is all the rage these days. Despite their prevalence each new build never ceases to amaze. Over in Munich at f.re.e trade fair, a life-sized Volkswagen camper has been unveiled. This lates LEGO Big Build measures over five metres in length and stands two metres tall, plus it features that all important pop-up roof. The insides are equally impressive with everything you need for a perfect camping trip, including a floor-mounted heater and transistor radio. The entire build uses around 400,000 LEGO elements and took LEGO certified professional Rene Hoffmeister along Pascal Lenhard around six weeks to design and build. Although a lot smaller, you can build your own LEGO VW T1 Camper which is available now.
