LEGO Valentine’s Minifigure Pack Hands-on

Most LEGO® Stores offer an in-store activity called Build A Minifigure or BAM for the time conscience. This provides an impressive collection of Minifigure pieces and accessories which can be combined to create your own unique characters. In recent times the BAM set-up has changed a little, pre-built packs of three characters were introduced along with some unique to LEGO Store pieces. The result is some pretty cool new characters or variants of past characters. With love being in the air, LEGO Stores have been offering a Valentine’s Day Pack, with contain three different characters. Despite Leicester or the East Midlands not having a LEGO store, my friendly BAM dealer, Al has very kindly sent me this new pack of characters.

BAM Valentine's Day Pack

The pack includes three characters – a Love Bear, a Butterfly Girl and a Spring Chick. The Love Bear uses the same bear costume head as Bear Costume Guy from Series 19 of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures, it’s been recoloured dark pink which matches the body and legs. The torso has a heart-shaped fuzzy patch on its chest, it also includes a heart-shaped tile accessory. The Butterfly Girl is similar to the one from a past CMF series but uses the new style wing introduced in the LEGO VIDIYO theme. Her butterfly pointed torso and pink hair finish off the look. Finally, there’s the Spring Check. This uses the Chicken Suit torso, which was recently recoloured for the Chicken Stunt Bike City Stuntz set. It also uses the same chick head element, it’s a shame the crazy eyes haven’t been replaced with new print detail.

Big thanks to Al (Itsabrickthing) for getting these for me, you should be able to find them in your local LEGO Store now along with the recently released BAM Birthday Pack.
