Over in Germany, LEGO® are holding a pre-Toy Fair press event and although we aren’t there, LEGO UK have provided details of two new sets coming this Summer. Before I go on, it has been stated that no images will be allowed during the event, so none have been provided with these press releases nor will those at the Nuremberg Toy Fair be able to take photos. One of the announcements is a new addition to the Technic Supercars range, with the next larger scale vehicle being a Lamborghini. This will be similar to the Bugatti Chiron and Porsche 911 GT3. These offer a highly detailed replica of the vehicle they are based on. The set is expected to launch in August, further details will follow at a later date.
First ever LEGO® Technic™ Lamborghini set will launch globally in summer 2020.
29th January 2020, Billund: The LEGO Group is delighted to announce a partnership between Italian super sports cars car manufacturer, Automobili Lamborghini and LEGO® Technic™, the building system that allows older kids and adults to create more advanced, complex models.
The new 1:8 scale set will launch in summer 2020 and will be the third model in the LEGO Technic Ultimate series, following on from its hugely popular predecessors, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS in 2016 and Bugatti Chiron in 2018. The LEGO Technic Lamborghini model will be available in LEGO Brand Retail Stores and the LEGO Online Store from 1 June 2020 and more widely from 1 August 2020. Further details about the LEGO Technic Lamborghini will be revealed at a later date.
