LEGO Technic Introduces New Control+ System

The LEGO Group are currently hosting a press events ahead of the German Toy Fair, which opens tomorrow. German LEGO® set Zusammengebaut are in attendance and are providing up-to-date coverage over on their site. One of the key pieces of information to be revealed is the reveal of a new power system for LEGO Technic. Is was expected that Powered Up would be introduced to Technic sets, instead it’s getting a similar system called Control+. This will includes smart hubs that can be connected to an app, allowing unique control of upcoming new LEGO Technic sets. One of which is a Liebherr 9800 excavators. This flagship set will include numerous motors and hubs. It will be released later this year alongside a few more smaller Technic sets.
