LEGO Star Wars Droid Orchestra Behind The Scenes

Last week a fun video was released which used the Droids from the LEGO® Star Wars BOOST Droid Commander set to create an orchestra capable of playing a familiar theme. But getting 95 brick-built Droids to play a number of real instruments is no easy task. Sam Battle from ‘Look Mum No Computer’ became a Droid wrangler for the day with a little help from BOOST senior designer Carl Merriam. It took 3148 hours to create the entire thing, as well as a few ingenius work-arounds to make the whole thing work. If you fancy creating your own Droid Commander orchestra, the LEGO Star Wars BOOST Droid Commander set is available now and LEGO VIP members can also get a bonus miniset for free.
