LEGO NINJAGO Movie Gets Surprise New Addition

Before you read on there may be elements of this article which may be considered a spoiler for The LEGO NINJAGO Movie and The LEGO Movie if you still haven’t seen it. One of the stand out moments in The LEGO Movie was the revelation that Emmet and his fellow Master Builders were actually living in a vast AFOL created cityscape painstakingly built in the basement of the Man Upstairs, with their daily lives bought to life by Finn. Well it seem The LEGO NINAJGO Movie may be following in the foot steps of The LEGO Movie. Today Warner Bros. Pictures have added a series of new images to their press portal and within them is a series of images featuring Jackie Chan, who voices Master Wu in The LEGO NINJAGO Movie.

At first these seem like they have been taken from the various ‘Joke’ videos released over the last few weeks by Warner. However they also feature a young boy and have a strapline which states the images features “KAAN GULDUR as Kid and JACKIE CHAN as Mr. Liu in the new animated adventure “THE LEGO® NINJAGO® MOVIE” So it would seem the third animated LEGO movie will indeed include some form of live action elements, which could see Chan’s Mr Liu recounting tales of ninja, to the LEGO-loving ‘Kid’. Check out the images below which also feature The LEGO NINJAGO Movie’s director Charlie Bean on set of an old curio shop, which is reminiscent of the store from the beginning of Gremlins.
