There’s been quite a bit of talk on social media about LEGO changing the packaging from the traditional foil bag to cardboard packaging. I’m not sure how true those rumours are, but I did see a blurry image recently of packaging that looked very similar to the small flat boxes which contain the “birthday” set often given to children in branded stores.
One fun aspect of the CMFs is feeling for the figure contained within. It’s going to be impossible if LEGO do change the packaging. There must be an environmentally alternative that allows fans the same experience?

This series is certainly still foil bagged, but there was a survey about switching to card and from what I understand the feedback was as you say. No-one was a fan but they do like the idea of sustainable packaging, just not carded boxes

Adam
Is there a chase mini figure (one per box).
Thanks
Pete

No LEGO said a few years again chase figures would cease. Rumours suggest box distribution will be more uniform with multiple full sets depending on box size

Adam, what is the reason behind the reduction of different figures from 16 to 12 please?

Not sure on the official reason, but they are bars to produce as the require new moulds for all the next elements. Cost could be a factor, so maybe it was a choice between putting the price up or reducing the overall amount per series
