LEGO Mighty Bowser Gets Epic Price Drop

For those in the UK, Amazon has dropped the price of the Mighty Bowser set to £129.99, that’s an impressive £100 off the RRP. As I mentioned in my review of the largest LEGO® Super Mario set yet, it’s an excellent set only held back by its price tag. With £100 off the price and it’s guaranteed it will arrive before Christmas, it’s the perfect time to grab the set if it was on your wish list. As will everything on Amazon, prices can change at any time so don’t hang around if you want the set at this super low price. Find the set here.

    • Well, it arrived today. The box looked like it had been run over by a truck and it had previously been opened. It had been resealed by someone who had probably never heard of the word finesse nor moderation previously to taking a job at Amazon. There was tape everywhere!

I called Amazon and was told that I had purchased a returned item, hence the great deal. They offered to refund me and to collect the item.

So I took the plunge and opened the box. It contained a sealed package with the manual and 22 numbered bags as per the Brickset description. Plus an unnumbered bag of baseplates.

So, it was all there. But, as this was a surprise gift for my wife for Christmas I decided that I couldn’t give it to on the big day. So, for Mrs H, Christmas has come early.

I would suggest, however, that anyone being recommended incredible deals, whether through here or elsewhere, check what it is before spending your lolly!

      • It was definitely ‘new’ when I listed it so Amazon can be done for false advertising. Sorry they sent it out like that.
