The expansion of LEGO® content in China continues as LEGO MASTERS is heading to Chinese TV screens. Variety is reporting that the hit show is being brought to China by Banijay Group, which is also behind the New Zealand version of the show. Chinese production firm Long Qing Media has been commissioned to create the first series of the show for Shenzhen TV. The Chinese version of LEGO MASTERS brings the show to 15 different countries. All of them are based on the original format created in the UK by Tuesday Child for Channel 4. Despite the various international versions, there are currently no plans for future UK versions, with Channel 4 choosing instead to air series from the US and Australia.
