LEGO Indiana Jones Product Range Clarification

With the LEGO® Indiana Jones set officially revealed today, you may be wondering why there are only three sets being released on April 1st. As previously mentioned, the new theme has suffered a series of leaks over the last few weeks. These included a set inspired by the second Indiana Jones film, which hasn’t been included in this wave of sets. The LEGO Group and Disney have chosen to focus on the three sets revealed today. Before speculating as to why it’s worth mentioning that set 77014: Temple of Doom has never been officially announced. Still, it can be disappointing when a LEGO product is expected but not released. This also covers why the new sets are not based on the upcoming new Indiana Jones film. Here’s a short statement from the LEGO Group clarifying the LEGO Indiana Jones product range. Permission has been given to include the leaked image of the set to provide context to the article.

Throughout 2022, the LEGO Group worked closely with Lucasfilm to optimize our planned product line up for the upcoming LEGO Indiana Jones product launches in April 2023.

As an outcome of this, we consolidated the launch to focus on three products (77012, 77013, 77015) that feature some of the most iconic scenes from the Indiana Jones franchise.

We hope our fans love the new range and can’t wait to get their hands on them.
