A few weeks ago the LEGO® ideas Team launched their second build contest to possibly help creative a promotional LEGO gift giveaway during 2019. LEGO Moment in Space asked builder to create something space-themed which could be transformed into a future Gift With Purchase promotional item. The contest has now closed for new entires and it’s time to get voting for your favourite creations. Voting is open until Friday 19th and the top 25 voted for entries by you, will then be looked over by the LEGO Expert Review team to decide upon one lucky winner. To check out all the entires and cast your vote blast on over to the LEGO Ideas contest site. The winner will be revealed on March 2nd and then be on the look out for the final build at some point in 2019!

There are over 1000 entries so the competition is stiff. I submitted this fun little Coin Operated Rocket Ride that I’m hoping at least gets into the top 25.

I designed it to work with both normal Minifigs and Friend’s MiniDolls. I was hoping to make the rocket ride fun for everyone no matter what current collection of Lego Figures they have. There is a video included at the link.
