As the LEGO® House celebrates its first birthday, the Billund based attraction has been nominated for London’s Design Museum Beazley Design of the Year. It’s one of the 87 nominees spread across six categories, with the LEGO House up for the architecture award. Built in the centre of Billund, home of the LEGO Group since it began, the LEGO House was designed by Danish architects, Bjarke Ingels Group. The unique building has been made to represent as stack of huge LEGO bricks and is home to the complete history of the bricks and offers a truly unique LEGO experience. Check out the full list of nominees here and don’t forget this weekend you can enjoy the big birthday celebrations.
