The LEGO® House exclusive set Dinosaurs set will be available online again tomorrow. This set was previously only available to purchase in the LEGO shop at the LEGO House in Billund. It was briefly made available to purchase online in 2020, due to COVID closing the Billund-based attraction. As before the set will only be available in selected countries due to legal and safety issues with the set’s packaging. Here’s a brief explanation from LEGO House:
The LEGO House exclusive sets were produced with the intention of only being sold in the LEGO House Store in Billund, DK. As such, the packaging and building instructions for these sets do not contain the legal requirements necessary for distribution in many other countries around the world. Due to this, distribution of LEGO House Dinosaurs will be limited to Denmark, UK, and Ireland. – LEGO House
To clarify the set has limited availability depending on region. There are numerous legal requirements for various products, including toys. This is why standard LEGO sets come in two versions. The US boxes have to show piece counts and other additional information, that other countries don’t. This is why the LEGO House set will not be available to those in North America. The LEGO House set which will be sold online is from stock taken from LEGO House, they have not been created especially for online sales. Therefore they cannot produce new packaging or ‘slap a sticker’ on the boxes.
The set will be available online from tomorrow and stock will be extremely limited. Pricing is still to be confirmed but it will be available on the links below, these are currently showing the set as ‘Retired’ but will be live again tomorrow.
